The Big 23!

Wow I can't even believe it, JK is now 23 years old! Unfortunately I had school and work, and so did he so we didn't have to much time for partying, but we were able to go out to dinner and open a few presents. We went to wingers for dinner, and then came home and opened presents just the two of us. I got him a new grill and some stuff for work. We celebrated with his family the following Sunday and from his parents he got new camo stuff. From my family he got a new tent, which of course we had to go put it up in our living room! how normally this wouldn't be a big deal, except for we have a little apartment and the tent was a 8 person tent! Anyways it was a pretty relaxed birthday but it was still better than ever. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He is the light of my life.

Lake Powell round 2 and Little Mermaid

Back in August we were able to go to The Little Mermaid with my whole family. Wow the show was so awesome! It was such a blast to get together with the whole family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Over Labor day we got the chance to head out to Lake Powell for one last trip for the summer! It ended up being just the immediate family this time and it was such a great bonding weekend for us all. It was so relaxing and just a nice little break from our busy schedules now.

Oh Canada!

It has been quite awhile since I have had time to post but I guess now is better than nothing right! We were lucky enough to make a quick trip up to Canada to see my dads family for my cousins wedding. We went on thursday, and came home sunday so it was super quick, but well worth it. While we were there we were able to spend time with the family we don't get to see very often, go to the Cardston Temple, and JK learned to fly a plane! How cool is it that my grandma actually lives in a "village". It is such a cute little town and I love going to visit! It was such a great trip and we feel so lucky to have been able to make the trip before school started up again!

LaKe PoWeLl 2011

Lake powell is something we look forward to all year and it always lives up to all the hype. the weather was absolutely beautiful and the water was perfect! I am so lucky to have married into such an amazing family. It is always such a blast and I can't wait to go again!

Elli Turns 8!

I can't believe that Elli is eight already. We were able to go up to her birthday party and attend her baptism and I was lucky enough to MAKE her dress! For her bday we went to boondocks and were kids again for the day! it was so much fun! On saturday morning we went to her baptism and it was absolutely amazing. The spirit was so strong and she looked amazing in her white dress.

One Year Anniversary

I cannot believe we have already been married a year. Its been an amazing year, full of excitement, learning to live together, learning to fight with each other, learning to make up, and best of all learning that my love grows for JK each and every day. I am so truly blessed to have found such an amazing man. He knows me better than everyone, he knows how to make me laugh, how to make me feel better when I am down, how to make be forget about everything else going on in the world and make me fall in love with him all over again. His smile melts my heart and his kindness and willingness to always help overs blows me away. His testimony of the church so so strong and I am so lucky to have a worthy priesthood holder as my husband. I love you JK, and I cannot wait for the rest of eternity with you. Happy one Year anniversary baby.

To celebrate our first year together as a married couple we decided to head to vegas and go to a show! We wanted to spend the night, but the rooms were out of control expensive so we just headed down saturday morning and started with a little shopping. JK was such a great sport to go shopping with me. Before the show we headed over to the cheesecake factory for an amazing meal. Then we headed back to treasure island to go to the cir de solei Mystere show and holy cow was it amazing! it was worth every penny we spent on it! I highly recommend it to anyone! unfortunately i didn't get to many pictures.

These guys were seriously unreal. I do not see how half the stuff they do is physically possible!

Kolob Adventure

Tanya was so kind to invite us up to Kolob for a little surprise bday party for Kacen. It was soo pretty up there and we love to get away any chance we can get. We left friday after work and made it up just in time for a little bbq. After we ate we went down to the little lake and just hung out. Then we went back to the cabin and hung out around the fire and just relaxed.

We planted a little garden in our mini front yard and im happy to say they are alive and growing great!

Pool Party and again slack lining

We were lucky enough to be invited over to Landon and Chanlee's for a little bbq and pool party the other day. Its so fun to get together with our friends and just relax and have fun. We ate and swam and just chatted. Then we decided to go do some slack lining again and Brant, Taylor and Allie came and joined us. We are so grateful to have such great friends that we get to hang out with all the time.

First off I need to congratulate my beautiful sister Neisha on graduating High School. I can't believe she is done. I feel so old! Also the other day JK and Kacen were talking about Slack Lining and so we just decided to go try it out! it started out just JK, me, Kacen, and Tanya, but soon brant and Taylor and AJ and Summer joined us. We just had ourselves a little party at the park!

Grand Canyon Adventure

Back in May we took a trip to the grand canyon, JK and Landon have been wanting to ride four wheelers for the longest time and we finally decided to make it happen. We left from the shop friday about 5:30 and cruised for about two hours before we saw a big storm rolling in so we stopped and put up our tent and hopped inside just in time for the storm to hit. Luckily for us the storm only lasted about 15 minutes and then the weather was just great. The next day we hopped back on the wheelers and headed to the grand canyon. It only took us about two hours more to get there and then we hiked down into it. It was such a great trip and it was so much fun to spend time with such great friends.

EaStEr WeEkEnD

We had so much fun over Easter break. My sister and her family were able to come down from up north to enjoy the beautiful weather! it was so much fun having all the family together. We had a bbq up at Dixie rock and hiked around a bit, we dyed easter eggs with Kacen, Tanya, Kurt, and Amber. Saturday we swam, went to lazer mania and had a big bbq at the parents house. It was so much fun I love spending time with family.
